Come Home, one Republic

Never have I felt so warm and awful as today. A splitting headache to begin the day with, but not without a warm feeling across my chest. Yes, I am in love. Undeniably to this great human being who is the reason of this weird chord. This love is something so powerful, and for it to come at this stage of our story, it hits me like a punch in the bag. It is right in my mouth now and for something that potent, I wish I have the courage to swallow it down and let it consume me alive.
But ponder for a minute, you should know it is not as easy as it seems. It is a one way road. It is a make or break choice. And what makes it so hard to grasp is that love is not something you can earn, it does not work that way. Jesus’s great love for humanity is to die on the cross for us. We did not earn it but he did it nonetheless. And that gives me the courage to swallow it. Love is never about what you can get in return, then what is it about you ask? I have no idea too, for something as big as love, I will always be wearing a learner’s hat. For now, I will just let this sink in, to feel the ache when he is not around, to long for him, to think of him in all that I see, to give and give and give even though it seems silly to the world. What happen next belongs to the Lord, He has the call and I believe it will always be good. :)
